Mam was brought in here early December for emergency care (due to wandering) social services placed her here. I have been very happy with the friendliness of management and all of the staff I have met over the last few weeks. They have all made mam and myself very welcome and comfortable and answer any questions I have had.

My father lives at the home, we are all grateful for the care he receives there, it is second to none. The food, the environment and the devotion of the staff you would not find anywhere else. The home has stunning views and we are very glad we chose Newton Grange.

This care home is comfortable and pleasant. I've had no complaints at all since I've been here. All the people I met in Newton Grange have been kind and helpful. I've never felt in any way that I can't speak to the staff, they have the patience for me. The boss even is willing to listen to what you say. The staff are trying their best to please us.

I have recently had a respite stay at Newton Grange following a stay in hospital. The service and company I had there was second to none. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and kind to me. The overall standard was excellent to the level of a five star hotel with the benefit of lots of "best friends". The manager is a special person who always had time for me.

Ann A - April 2014
My aunt has lived on her own for many years and her move in November 2013 was traumatic. However the manager and staff have been superb in making sure she has all the help and support she needs.
Peter T - April 2014
My mother has been a resident for 5 months. She settled in straight away and has been very happy here. She is always very clean and well dressed and groomed and looks very well cared for. The staff are lovely with the residents, always having time for them.
My mother aged 94 became ill 2 weeks ago and is confined to bed. I have been here at Newton Grange 24 hours a day for the past week so I have a good insight into the care she is receiving and it is wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough, the staff are all compassionate, caring, attentive friendly and professional, well qualified and dedicated, they have all been very well chosen and interact very well with each other.

My grandmother is in this care home and I have been to visit her on several occasions and I felt that I had to say how brilliant the staff have been towards her.

My brother is a GP and I am a nurse practitioner in the USA. I was very selective when I chose a care home for our Aunt (..) The care she received from all was outstanding. Respectful, caring, patient, kind, professional. All the staff carers, nurses, kitchen and domestic were wonderful as was Ellie the activities director. Would highly recommend.

Brynfield Manor is a happy place to live. How do I know this? Because my mother has told me how much she loves being there.
The staff are always happy, contented and always smiling and I feel this attitude 'rubs off' on the residents who are also happy and contented. On the rare occasion my Mum has encountered a problem I have found staff to be approachable, caring, supportive and they have resolved the problem quickly.
To know that my Mother is safe, well cared for and happy means so much to me.

My mother entered Brynfield when she was 98 and could no longer live independantly.
After initial reservations about 'going in to care' we soon became part of the Brynfield family. The care given to my Mother was extremely good and the understanding shown to all the residents I knew was kind and respectful. My Mother passed away at 101 and I was comforted in the fact that her dignity was maintained to the end. I miss visiting my friends at Brynfield.

The home was intially chosen for it's location. The facilities are good and the staff are caring and considerate to the needs of the residents. The food is of a high standard. The residents are treated as individuals and the staff provide individual care needs. My Uncle was resident there for 18 months and I was very happy with the care that he received.
Mr T Lewis
After several spells in hospital, my Dad needed 24 hour nursing care.
I chose Brynfield Manor because of its beautiful location and its clean and bright interior. A choice of lounges, including a quiet room means that residents aren't forced to watch daytime TV. Food is excellent and plentiful but it is the staff who make Brynfield Manor outstanding. Always cheerful and patient, they are very attentive to my Dad's needs. Any concerns we have are listened to and acted upon straight away. Obviously I'd rather he was well enough to live at home but as that is not possible, Brynfield Manor is the next best thing.

I always feel that Mum is well cared for with
love and patience. My husband and I have
always found a pleasant and warm welcome
by the staff and professional attititude
towards their work.
Mrs Sue Lloyd
My reason for recommendation is the utmost care my parents receive at all times. The staff are so friendly and very helpful, if there is a problem they'll sort it out. The meals are excellent, the residents also have a bowl of fresh fruit most afternoons. The first thing you notice when entering the home is the cleanliness, warm friendly atmosphere and the care and attention each resident is shown.
Mrs G Williams
I visit several times a week, as time allows, and always find the atmosphere to be pleasant and calm. Patient care is given with the duty / fluid needs of every resident, there appears to be a high level of staffing and any request and queries are dealt with efficiently and promptly. Very old age brings a distinct loneliness and the understanding and sincere attentiveness shown to our Aunt is more than we could ever have hoped for.

Care staff always willing to help residents/visitors. Care staff always look professional. Care staff appear to be gentle with residents. Good ration of care staff to residents. Management available for queries. Welcoming Atmosphere.

Our aunt moved into The Brynfield Manor as an emergency respite care in her 98th year. She found the initial adjustment strange but was comforted and encouraged by the ever cheerful and empathetic staff to whom she owes her survival to her current age of 100. Her recent century was celebrated within the home and she throughly enjoyed the merger of her 'new life and 'old life' that the occasion allowed. I visit several times a week, as time allows, and always find the atmosphere to be pleasant and calm. Particular care is taken with the dietary/fluid needs of every resident, there appears to be a high level of staffing and any requests and queries are dealt with efficiently and promptly. Very old age brings a distinct loneliness and the understanding and sincere assistance shown to our aunt is more than we could ever have hoped for.

I have found the staff very welcoming, all are only too pleased to help and advise. The residents seem content and my Mother has settled well and is very happy. Brynfield has a very warm and friendly atmosphere, overall I am very satisfied.
